Introduction:

Unlike all the other plays dealt with in this course thus far, this play focus exclusively on women and issues surrounding women from a particular community and region of the country. Real Women Have Curves provides a window into the lives and personal and professional concerns of a group of working women in California. The play and the film based on the play provide a sharp contrast into differences between stage plays and films.
